BBA Youth Basketball
The B B A is a youth basketball program for boys and girls ages 6-13. We are located in the West Nashville area of Bellevue.
What sets the B B A apart from other area basketball leagues?

-MOTIVE-
The B B A is not in the "youth sports business". The B B A is administered by a 100% volunteer Board of Directors whose only motive behind wanting you to participate is to offer your son or daughter the fairest youth basketball program available. Period.
-DEDICATION-
The B B A is a member of the National Alliance for Youth Sports. (NAYS.org) Guided by the NAYS standards, we are committed to giving youth sports back to the kids! By embracing the philosophies set forth by NAYS, we guarantee the most beneficial youth sports experience for your entire family.
One of the unique aspects through which we achieve this is by holding extensive player evaluations and supervised team drafts.(see "draft process" for detailed info) This creates the most challenging match-ups possible for all participants at every level of ability. The resulting parity makes for an unrivaled, consistent, high level of competition not typically found in the large "bring your own team" leagues. In addition, we set and enforce high sportsmanship expectations for players, coaches and spectators.
-PERSPECTIVE-
Although the nature of basketball is competitive, we don't lose perspective that these are children and not adults playing the game. Having FUN is a priority for the league. After all, fun is the ONLY reason kids want to play any youth sport! Whether it is our Jumbotron NBA style Draft Announcement Jamboree, NBA style uniforms, or the end of the year Coaches Game (the players' favorite!), your kids are sure to have plenty of fun playing in the B B A!
Bottom line. The B B A is rapidly becoming known for being a league that is about quality not quantity. And for providing a unique youth basketball experience that aims to develop the entire young person into becoming a well rounded individual that excels not only in sports but more importantly.........in life!
